The Living Machine: Too small a solution for such a large problem?

The Living Machine does great work at Oberlin, but does it do enough? Can biological waste treatment really alleviate the need for large, energy-wasting, conventional treatment plants? The Scoop on Poop

Hi! And welcome to the official blog of Oberlin College’s POOP CAMPAIGN! The campaign is part of the annual Ecolympics events on campus. The campaign has two goals:

1) Getting people to come check out the Living Machine in the AJLC and find out what it does! (And maybe donating some of their own valuable brown to the LM)

2) Increasing awareness about waste management, including what human waste is, how it’s disposed of and why we should all be more aware of it!

So, check back here for regular updates on events, interesting facts, articles and videos and follow the Living Machine on twitter and facebook as well! And tell your friends!
